This webinar will convene African and European stakeholders to explore the potential of novel Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) pathways for deployment across the continent. Drawing on the ICARUS project’s latest research, the session will examine enabling conditions, policy frameworks, market opportunities, and barriers to SAF adoption in African contexts.


Participants will gain an early look at three innovative ICARUS SAF pathways, share perspectives on Africa’s evolving SAF landscape, and help shape the upcoming ICARUS public study on SAF development in Africa.
